Senior IT Technician

Role

We are seeking an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Senior IT Technician to join our ever-growing team based at our Discovery Park offices in Kent.

A vibrant personality and a passion for IT is a MUST, as you will be working in a high-pressure managed services environment where you will need to multi-task at the highest level.

Responsibilities

  • Provide 1st/2nd line support to the Operational Teams and customers
  • Attend sites and data centres when required
  • Liaise with 3rd party suppliers

Experience/Skills

  • Firewalls / Routers (Fortigate/MikroTik)
  • Networking (Cisco/Netgear)
  • WiFi Configurations/Deployment/Surveys
  • Knowledge of VOIP (3CX/Avaya)
  • Service Desk
  • Windows OS / Server up to 2019
  • Active Directory / GPO
  • Exchange / Office 365
  • Antivirus
  • Knowledge of network security

Required Qualifications/ Requirements

  • Experience of working in a Managed Service Provider environment
  • Good project management skills
  • Keen to learn new skills and develop professionally

Package

£30-£40K depending on experience, 25 days holiday which goes up to 30 days with long service, discretionary performance bonuses, share options
