Will a hybrid office become the new norm?

As the world battles Covid-19, it has sparked many conversations across the globe. Will social distancing continue once the pandemic is over? What will the future office look like? Will working from home be more widely practiced?

As we gradually return to work in the UK, we must think about the new normal and how we can adapt our way of working to meet current government guidelines. Social distancing has been a key component throughout the global pandemic and one that will probably shape our behaviours for some time.

Organisations now need to focus on effectively and safely adjusting the office for re-entry to ensure workplaces are safe and employees are comfortable with the environment.

Before Covid-19 many of us had never worked remotely before, but businesses like ours have helped companies adapt and we’ve ensured that company’s employees have had the right equipment, set-up and securities to do so. Now we’re on the roadmap to unlock, there’s the added pressure to combat social distancing in the workplace; resulting in many organisations maintaining remote working where possible, or creating a new hybrid balance.
