We’re proud to continue our sponsorship of a local youth football team for another season, supporting the wider community and something that means a lot to our own team.
The team is based in Teesside, which is home to our headquarters and where Communicate Technology was founded. Staying connected to our roots matters to us, so supporting a local, grassroots team feels like a natural fit.
This one is especially meaningful for us. One Billing Manager, Lisa, has a son who plays for the team, so we’ve seen first-hand the difference this kind of support can make, both for the players and the families around them.
Through the sponsorship, the team now has new winter coats, tracksuits and additional training equipment, including goalposts. It means players can turn up properly equipped and ready to train, whatever the weather.
While our day-to-day work is focused on keeping businesses connected and protected, staying connected to the communities we’re part of matters just as much.
Youth sport gives young people the chance to build confidence, learn how to work as a team and keep showing up week after week. Having the right support in place, whether that’s coaching, facilities or something as simple as the right kit, makes a real difference.
It’s also about supporting our own team. When something matters to our people, it matters to us, and we’re always keen to back that where we can.
We’re pleased to continue supporting the team this season. Seeing the players in their new Communicate winter coats and tracksuits is fantastic, and it’s great to know the additional training equipment and kit are already boosting their confidence and development on the pitch.
Good luck to the team – we’ll be cheering you on!
