This month, we’re marking ten years of Jed Wrigley at Communicate Technology. When you look at where that journey started and where it’s led, we think it’s a story worth telling.
Jed started his career back in 2015 as an IT Security Engineer Apprentice at Landscape Networks, building the foundations of his cybersecurity knowledge from the ground up. When we acquired Landscape at the end of 2016, Jed joined us at Communicate and didn’t take long to make his mark.
From the outset, Jed took his role seriously. He focused on building strong technical foundations and was always willing to get stuck in and learn. After completing his apprenticeship, he continued to progress, moving through roles including Cyber Security Team Lead and Security Manager, before going on to head up the SOC. Throughout that time, he built real depth across threat detection, incident response and the day-to-day work that keeps our customers secure.
What has always stood out is that Jed’s focus isn’t just technical. He’s driven by customer outcomes too. That commercial awareness, combined with his technical capability, has made him a key part of how we’ve shaped our security services. He consistently looks for ways to raise the standard of delivery and improve customer experience and has built a great reputation for understanding what customers actually need to shape solutions that work in the real world.
That combination set him up well for his move into a Solutions Engineer role. In this position, he brings clarity and practical thinking to complex challenges, helping bridge the gap between technical detail and real-world outcomes. Today, Jed works closely with customers to play a central role in how we help businesses stay protected in an increasingly complex threat landscape.
We’re proud to be celebrating Jed’s ten-year anniversary with him and are grateful for his hard work and dedication. He’s always looking for ways to improve, taking ownership and focusing on delivering better outcomes – which is why he recognised with our Excellence with Ambition core values award last year.
