Press Release: Kent-based IT and Telecoms Company Hire Qualified Apprentice

IT, telecoms and cyber security company Communicate has highlighted its commitment to it’s staff with its latest hire of qualified apprentice James Sayer.

James has qualified from his IT apprenticeship at Communicate and has now accepted a full-time contract at the leading IT and telecoms firm.

The UK-wide company has seen eight apprentices qualify and build a career with the company across its offices in Kent, Tees Valley, Leeds and Bedfordshire since Communicate was established in 2011.

Passing with a distinction, James based at Communicate’s Kent office, began his apprenticeship with Communicate and training provider Intequal back in May 2021, he said: “I’m very grateful for the opportunity Communicate offered me by the route of the apprenticeship scheme. IT has been a passion of mine for several years and I’m very excited to be starting a full-time position with such a great and fast-growing company.”

Mark Styles, south-east operations director at Communicate said: “James worked hard throughout his apprenticeship and it was pleasing to see his skillsets develop during this time; excelling in PC and networking support, with great customer-facing relationships. A truly well-deserved accreditation and an asset to our team going forward.”

Andrew Taylor, pathway planner at Inequal said: “James was a pleasure to work with throughout his apprenticeship programme. I am extremely pleased that James has secured full-time employment with Communicate. He is an excellent fit for the company, and I know they will continue to help him develop further skills and knowledge, as they have done throughout his apprenticeship.

“The wide variety of opportunities that Communicate provided throughout the apprenticeship as well as the high-quality training and development that we provided, and James’s work ethic and determination, all contributed to this fantastic achievement. We wish James good luck in moving forward – the future is bright.”

Tony Snaith, CEO of Communicate said: “We are proud of our commitment to each qualified apprentice, they allow us to continue to launch long-term careers in the IT sector and strengthen our team.”
