Press release: Trio at Communicate celebrate a decade of service

Nationwide IT and telecoms business Communicate, who has offices across Tees Valley, Kent, Bedfordshire and Leeds, has recently celebrated the ten-year anniversary of three employees.

Andrew Stevens, IT support engineer and Mark Styles, operations director from their Kent base, along with Joe Walls, lead cloud engineer based in Tees Valley, have committed a combined 30 years of service to the telecoms company.

Established in 2011 Communicate provides IT, telecoms, and cyber security to organisations of all shapes and sizes; fast becoming one of the industry’s leading internet service and managed security providers, keeping 500 businesses and 50,000 users connected and secure.

With the average turnover rate of IT engineers reported to be 11.5%, the team at Communicate have defied the odds to reach this milestone in their career.

Speaking on the celebration, Mark said: “We have a great culture here at Communicate and although we have various sites across the UK, we all work closely together. Here at Kent, we’ve enjoyed the challenge of turning Discovery Park into a multi-tenanted site over the last ten years.”

Andrew who is an engineer at the Kent site, added: “We’ve seen our client numbers at Discovery Park rise from just over 20 when I first joined to over 100 now. Communicate has been a great place to work, with such a wide client base you get to work on a range of technologies and no day is the same.”

Joe who is based at Teesside said: “Communicate has enabled me to massively progress my career in the industry over the last ten years. They provided me freedom and resources to increase my skills and knowledge, they’re always keen for engineers to learn the latest technologies and aren’t afraid of change.”

CEO, Tony Snaith went on to say: “Our company could not have reached where it is today without the commitment from team members such as Andrew, Mark and Joe. They are a vital part of Communicate and I would like to thank them all for their dedication over the last ten years.”
